Traveling Man: WB Robinson visits Memorial Lodge No. 1298

“Brethren, I hope all is well with you and the family. On my recent travels I visited Memorial Lodge No. 1298 A.F.&A.M. in Houston to attend a first degree. What I didn’t know until the night before was that the young man who was to be initiated was the son of Bro. Pete Larson, Past Potentate of Aloha Shrine, who flew in from Florida to be his sons guide/conductor as Senior Deacon. The ceremony was heartwarming to see a Father guide his son around the Lodge especially not being a member of a Texas Lodge. It’s necessary to note also that two individual brothers from the same Masonic jurisdiction (Hawaii) just so happen to be in the same place after having moved off island and not having any idea that we would be in town at the same time. We’re spreading a little Aloha around here and I’ve enjoyed the traveling I’ve done so far. Pete and I are asking that you put this article on the Lodge website and Grand Lodge newsletter if at all possible.

Until we meet again my brothers, much Aloha.

P.S. WBro. Michael Hatley of Memorial Lodge 1298 sends his greetings.”
