First Degree (2-8-2011)

It was an exciting night as the Brethren of Honolulu Lodge initiated two newly obligated brothers, Brother Brochure and Brother Jones. Brother Brochure and Brother Jones have shown immense loyalty and dedication towards the brethren of Honolulu Lodge and in doing so the doors of Freemasonry were open unto them.

It’s always a pleasure to accommodate our traveling brethren. On this night we had the pleasure of meeting and hosting brethren from Alaska, Minnesota, and B.C. Canada. From Fairbanks, Alaska we had Brother Steven Costa representing Midnight Sun Lodge #3. From Langley B.C. Canada we had Brother Steve McRitchie representing Langley Lodge #184. And from Minneapolis, MN we had Brother Shawn Lloyd representing Compass Lodge #265.

Both Worshipful Dexter Carrasco and Brother Gilles Tisseraud took turns conferring degrees. Brother Diamond Robinson presented the candidates with an outstanding lecture.

Brother Guy from Tahiti was also in attendance and presented RW Monty Glover with a beautiful masonic gift. A copy of a French masonic document originating from the late 1800’s. We’ll make sure to post an English translation of the document in the near future.
