August Practice #2

It’s the small things, repeated over and over again, that are vastly more powerful and influential than the big things done once.

The gold-medal Olympic swimmer doesn’t just show up to the competition and win the race. For years beforehand he practices his start, his stroke, his breathing, fine-tuning each aspect of his craft. Often the race is won by mere hundredths of a second. Yet, the effort needed to win that race is the sum of years of practice.
